Haley Hurls Searing Insult At Trump

Nikki Haley, a Republican presidential contender, has spoken out against President Trump’s comments regarding Gen. Mark Milley being a traitor and treasonous.

She said, simply put, she found it irresponsible. She told Kristen Welker on NBC’s Meet the Press, “You don’t need to say stuff like that.” Haley said that everyone who has served our country, male or female, has earned her highest respect. She noted that her husband is a wartime vet who is currently deployed. She reminded people of the sacrifices veterans make and their families’ sacrifices. She said they should be honored every chance people get.

Haley’s criticisms of the former president echo those leveled at Trump last month when he attacked Milley. Towards the end of Trump’s term, Milley made calls to China. The former president had advocated for the death penalty for Milley for treasonous activity.

Chris Christie, another GOP presidential candidate, and former Vice President Mike Pence have spoken out against Trump’s remarks.

Trump’s position, though, is that Milley’s act of treason could have easily sparked a war between China and the United States.

In response to Trump’s remarks, Milley said he would take “necessary measures” to protect himself and his family.

Milley and the former president clashed frequently during Trump’s administration. Milley took a jab at Trump in his retirement speech last month, saying that the U.S. military does not sign an oath to a wannabe tyrant.

Trump remarked on Truth Social that Mark Milley, who he said is slow in movement and his thinking, should never have made those calls to China’s military leadership.

He asked if Milley realized how much of a precarious position he put the country in. He called Mark Yesper (Esper!) a Woke Fool who answered yes to everything.

He called Milley “stupid” and “dangerous.”
